Bridgetown, BB
Located in the parish of St. John in Barbados, this c.1896 structure appears to be a rebuild possibly after a fire destroyed the original plantation house. The clients' main concern was to reclaim the character of a 19th century Barbadian plantation house and as a result antique fittings and the use of lime render to the exterior walls was paramount. This extensive 12-month renovation allowed for the facelift of the kitchen as well as the addition of two bathrooms to the first floor.
