Gronning Architects is a full service architectural firm based in Washington DC. Our sister company, Gronning Design + Manufacturing, LLC (GDM), contributes to our expertise through fabrication and construction. GDM is a specialty fabrication shop with wood and steel capabilities. We believe it is essential for architects to have knowledge of fabrication and construction methods and GDM offers the opportunity for employees to gain first hand experience. This expertise is vital to how we approach the use of materials in our designs.
