International architect, urban design researcher and educator, with wide-ranging practice and teaching experience. With diverse clients, I work from first principles on architecture, urbanism, and professional education, using English and German. Projects in London, Frankfurt, Vienna, Perth and Ulaanbaatar.
My PhD research analysed, in field work, the design of mixed-use inner-city streets for all hours. Streets in London UK and Frankfurt Germany were analysed through case study interviews with people in railway station quarters. Practical, generaliseable findings were derived. These would inform designs to increase the liveability of streets, and to improve the sustainability of urban street cultures, especially in challenging inner-city transport hub areas.

Project architect for a social housing complex of 28 Apartments; the first phase of a competition-winning project for 88 apartments in rural industrial town Knittelfeld, Upper Styria (Obersteiermark). Incorporated partially heated communal stairwells and a basement nuclear fallout shelter as required by the then Styrian Austrian building regulations.
