Teresa Goodwin is a Regional Director for HPA Architecture. HPA is headquartered in Irvine and specializes in the design of industrial buildings. Teresa manages the company’s office in Oakland and the design of both new development and tenant improvement projects. Representative projects include a (3) building 1.3 million square foot speculative industrial project in Livermore for Trammell Crow and a tenant improvement for Golden State FC for 575,000 square feet in Newark in McShane’s Cherry Logistics Center.
Previously, she grew through the ranks of a Reno, Nevada based architecture and engineering company. Starting as a structural designer, serving as a project manager and finally vice president. As vice president she opened and managed the Northern California office. In 2009 she founded PeopleSpaces Design Group an Oakland based design and engineering firm specializing in commercial tenant improvements.
Teresa is a Past President for the East Bay chapter of CREW, Commercial Real Estate Women and is an active NAIOP member in the San Francisco chapter. She attended the University of Nevada Reno and holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. She is a licensed professional engineer in California and a LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional. She lives in Oakland with her husband and daughter.
