In 1996, he graduated from Trakya University, Department of Architecture. In 1999, he completed his Master’s degree at the same university’s Institute of Science with his thesis on Urban Center Hierarchy. Until 2007, he held various positions in several companies, including design manager and project manager. He worked as a designer architect at KİPTAŞ AŞ under the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and was responsible for architectural projects and implementations at Istanbul Memorial Hospital. He was involved in many hospital projects, focusing on architectural design, project management, and consultancy. In 2007, he founded Medmim Architecture (Medical Architectural Design Consultancy Ltd.). Under the Medmim Architecture umbrella, he has designed numerous projects both domestically and internationally. His work was recognized in 2022 by RIBA under the Global Talent category. His sketches have been exhibited in architecture departments of various universities. Currently, Göksel Öksüz is pursuing his PhD in Architectural Design at Yıldız Technical University and continues his architectural design and consultancy activities at Medmim Architecture, where he has been the sole partner since 2015.
