G Home Las Vegas is an affordable, high-performance, ecological demonstration home using
readily-available, best-in-breed materials and solutions for the emerging clean energy economy. The
home Las Vegas is a two-level variant of an original developmental prototype designed in 2007 for the
purpose of testing the ecological value of the concept. G Home designs manifested themselves by
adhering to 21 simple ecological principles and design diagram developed by GLS which incorporates
both the modern needs of occupants and the environment. The homes are scalable and configurable to fit virtually any site and use. Linear and symmetrical layouts simplify and improve the efficiency of
engineering, construction and the integration of building systems. G Homes are strong, super-insulated,
and highly energy-efficient homes. The first G Home is being built as a working demonstration and
case-study to be showcased to the public. Once completed, the home will be utilized as a venue for
meetings, special events, and public presentations showcasing the design and philosophy of GLS G
Homes.
