Georgios Kontominas is a Senior Architect, currently working at the intersection of Architecture and Artificial Intelligence, as Director of Architecture at Pantheon AI in San Francisco.
In the past, he has collaborated with WRNS Studio, SOM in San Francisco and SPARCH Sakellaridou/Papanikolaou Architects in Thessaloniki, Greece working on a wide range of projects and scales.
Georgios holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering (Dipl-ing) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as a Valedictorian. He earned his second Master's from UC Berkeley, College of Environmental Design, with Distinction, receiving merit-based scholarships by the department and being a Gerondelis Foundation Scholar and a Stavros Niarchos award recipient. While at UC Berkeley he also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher concentrating on exploring Additive Manufacturing, Bio-inspired Design and Digital Fabrication.
His work has been exhibited in Greece, Cyprus, Spain, UK, China, USA, and, has been nominated for prestigious awards, including the EU Mies van der Rohe Award (2024 Nominee with SPARCH Architects - American Elementary School of Thessaloniki | "Anatolia").
