About

I am a 27 years old Ph.D. Student in Civil and Structural Engineering and a Licensed Architect, with a strong passion for Computational Design.
My studies are finished and I am focused on the next step: capitalize my skills and passion within an exciting professional environment.

I am a motivated, organized and hard-working person. My technical skills include a consistent knowledge of Architectural, Structural and Optimization processes. In addition to academic qualifications, I have practice experience working as Architect and Computational Design Engineer, in both private and public environments.

Education

Università degli Studi di Genova, Facoltà di Ingegneria Civile, Genova, IT, PhD, Civil and Structural Engineering

At the end of my training as Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering – Curriculum in Structures – with a three years research grant.
The research project introduces a framework of parametric design, kinematic simulation and structural analysis, and applies the method developed to Origami patterns. Geometric, technological and structural principles are combined in sinergy for the design of deployable systems and mobile shelters.

Università degli Studi di Genova, Facoltà di Architettura, Genova, IT, Masters, Architecture

First graduated of the degree course and winner of the prize "Nicoletta Gais" for the best Thesis discussed at the Polytechnic School of Genoa in 2013/2014 and publication of the original results on the ConferenceMARAS2014.

The Master Thesis: "Parametric Modeling in form-finding and structural applications" aims to test the parametric design to developed a dynamic model in which different issues are integrated in the same workflow.
