A large room to organize and a patio to redesig.
This project was an amazing collaboration with Remy Architects, and MYOO.
Inside the apartment the ceiling is double height to create a sleeping loft and increase living space. A huge window allows plenty of natural light to fill the living area and 3 spot lights run vertically along the apartment to make the space bright. The widows' frame has been entirely remodelled to improve air recirculation and implement energy saving systems.
New wood flooring on the first floor make the kitchen and the living into a one large open plan room, and a unique staircase with metal sheets creates an interesting focal point.
The second floor contains the bedroom loft with an operable metal structure screen which can be closed to create a full wall or totally open, allowing flexibility between allowing light in during the day and creating privacy.
The bathroom is built from large slabs of black granite (60x60) and micro concrete for the walls. The shower is Blackwood marble with a rough texture from Forte dei Marmi with a illuminated niche. The sink is carved from white sileston (ZEUS???) above a beautiful white lacquered wood cabinet.
The Dombreacht taps use state of the art cromotherapy technology from Model Symetrics, which heals the body through electromagnetic radiation.
