About

I am a problem solver who believes in the power of design that empowers and celebrates culture, technology, environment, and collaboration.

As a designer at West 8 I have grown being involved in the design proccess from schematic design to construction administration. I have a strong eye for detail working in 2D and 3D developing iterations and visualizations to communicate ideas and illustrate construction details for client presentations and coordination items. Taking design elements from a sketch to a construction document.

I am a extroverted person that enjoys working with groups and coordinating projects.

During my masters I worked as a research assistant working alongside faculty on different grants ranging from creating an urban analysis report for the commisioners office, doing design-build explorations, and coordinating the AIAS National South Quad Conference in Miami.

For two years I worked on a National Science Foundation grant, working with professors and colleagues from 3 different majors developing a new interdisciplinary course aided by both virtual and augmented reality educational apps for students to learn about Suistanable  Building Construction. During this process I was coordinating the courses content and being part of desiging the apps' UI and UX, keeping track of process testing for a final paper to be published by the NSF.

Looking to learn about urban planning I had the opportunity being selected to work, in Gassino Torinesse Italy, alongside city officials to develop design proposals to improve the current urban composition and transit systems.

I look to continue my journey to become a strong designer and grow towards becoming a project manager.
