About me:
My name is George Garzouzy, or in Arabic, Jiries Garzouzy. A fun fact about me is that I speak five languages: Arabic, Hebrew, French, English, and Armenian. I’m a new student at Santa Monica College, double majoring in Architecture and Political Science. Currently, I live in Jerusalem, but I will be making my move to Los Angeles for the upcoming spring semester and start attending SMC in real life.I love everything wildlife, such as learning about different species of animals and ecosystems. In my free time, I like to play video games, watch movies with my family and draw all kinds of things. My all-time favorite thing to do is go to the Old City of Jerusalem, where I can eat amazing local food, site seeing the architectural history of infamous monuments such as the Holy Sepichlure or the dome of the rock, and meet up with my friends there. I’m currently trying to transfer to UCLA, my dream school, and continue my academic journey in Architecture and Political Science there. I also started doing meditation to try to eliminate my sleep insomnia.I would say that one of my long-term goals is to obtain a master's in architecture and Political Science from California and start working either in my home city, Jerusalem, or continue in California. I also strive to one day start a program where I use both my knowledge in Political Science and Architecture to start a project that could benefit people who live in wars or other bad situations. A project that could better the lives of their living conditions and help create a brighter future for these people.

I'm doing both Political Science and Architecture for my studies at Santa Monica College. Both fields interest me very much, and I would like one day to combine these two for my future career.
