The competition required a new building for the UNED's educational facilities in Barbastro, Spain. The programme included classrooms and spaces for audiovisual activities and common areas for exhibition and library in a building located in a corner at the Barbastro downtown. The former UNED's building is located right in front of the location of the new suggested building, and our proposal aimed to connect both, the old and the new, through a whole new open square, right in the center of the space.
