Gans & Company is a  woman owned business with twenty-five years of experience in related fields of architecture, planning, interiors, and industrial design. We have executed  projects from  campus  master plans and  a patented school desk to  modular housing,  restaurant interiors and museum renovations.   We are honored to be NYC Department of Design and Construction Excellence firm, and the Brooklyn/Queens AIA Firm of the Year, 2018.  Our work has been exhibited at IFA Paris, RIBA London, and the United States Pavilion of the Venice Biennial.  It can be found in such books as: Hudson Modern, Synagogues: Marvels of Judaism,  Good Deeds Good Design, and Waterproofing , New York, among others.

Our central mission is to shape a more equitable society  through the power of good design for all.  Since our founding, we have been a proactive force in shaping architecture’s responses to emerging social and environmental challenges. We are long-term participants in the fields of community-based design and  design approaches to climate change from New Orleans to Far Rockaway.
