This project was focusing on the renovation of a
duplex in the upper East side of Manhattan The
concept design was centered on the creation of a
space minimal with a clean design, as well as
elements and devices  to assist persons with
disabilities. The stair case become the main visual
point on the ground floor the key element of the
entire project, answering also at the function of
connection between the two floors and the choice to
concentrate in this floor the public space, and
consequential the second floor intended as private
space. One of the main challenges was the dining
area and the kitchen that conceptual considerate as
separate but at the same time be part of the same
space, the solution was to create a serious of
retractable wall panels, with the function to create a
filter between this two ambient.
