My name is Gabrielle Vera, and I am an architectural designer based in New York City. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Planning, and a Masters in Architecture and Planning- concentrating in Urban Practice and accredited by N.C.A.R.B.- from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

My academic experiences exposed me to an array of challenges and intellectually engaging environments such as understanding craft through physical model making, hand drafting, and building proficiency in various BIM, drafting, and rendering programs. I also had the opportunity to travel internationally with the department for a design build project in Tenjo, Colombia, as well as working with associates in the office of Gensler in London, U.K.

My professional experience consists of small-scale high-end residential renovation work and medium-scale office and media production facilities. Through my years of experience, I became skilled in an array of integral design and building aspects of these typologies. My time at KGA in New York and Overmyer Architects in Washington, DC allowed me to experience and become skilled with site measure ups, digital drafting, 3D modeling, rendering production, intimate client and contractor relations, as well as many of the other integral aspects of the design/build process. At this time, my goal is to expand the various typologies and design work I am engaging with.
