The reclamation of flux is a piece of public furniture that attempts to subconsciously unravel the connection between Cape Town and its original water ways (which are now hidden under the city’s streets). By constructing it with clear resin, Algea Glow aggregate and local gravel the chair transforms from a solid structure during the day into a delicate light installation at night thereby becoming a gift to the Flaneur/Urban explorer.
