As a student of architecture I was quick to realize that this field is truly a melding of many different skill sets. I have worked hard over the past few years to develop them through my schooling, work experience, outside clubs, and volunteering. Once I graduate I hope to put them to work and always continue learning.

I began my internship at Christopher Clancy Architecture in March of 2012. Since then I have worked with a variety of programs such as: AutoCad, Photoshop, and Sketchup. I have become more familiar with the design and build process, as well as the more technical aspects of the field.

Design Village Competition, 1st Place
Cal Poly's annual architectural design competition has students from around the country design and build a structure according to that year's theme, to live in for one weekend. Teams from various Colleges & Universities compete in Poly Canyon to see which structure is the most durable, unique, and aesthetically ambitious.
This year's theme was titled "Make, Move, Play", and there were approximately 40 teams participating. Awards were given based on how well the structure exhibits each category. Our team was awarded First Place in the "Play" category.
