Pairings Restaurant located in Downtown, 900 Biscayne Boulevard, close to one thousand museum.
The client Tomas Cuadrado wanted a restaurant that reflected and express an Evocative Spanish Gastronomic Culture, where you can have an experience that makes you remember a trip to Spain or if you have not been there make you want to visit.
Knowing the client’s needs, our work focused on completing the feeling of being in Spain.
When entering a high white marble table designed by Fernandez Architecture with fice pendant lights and a background of white framed tiles and the kitchen in the background, topped with the typical shutters called “Alicantinas” of the Barcelona city where Tomas was born, evokes the sensation of being in a typical market of Spain where you can eat some appetizers or “tapas”.
The main room with tables and chairs with Spanish antique style. The walls on one side with framed paper that reminds us of the typical floors of Mediterranean apartments while serving to give ambient light, in front of a personalized mural for the protagonist Tomas Cuadrado and closing the environment the “Alicantinas” that complete this evocative space Spanish.
The bathrooms are also a remarkable design element, inspired by the typical Catalan festivity “la diada de sant jordi” that coincides with the World Book Day where books are the protagonists.
And to finish the outdoor space of the restaurant, simple but with furniture and lighting that remind us of the Mediterranean terraces to drink a beer or a wine while we eat a “tapa”.
