The Pallet Home is a collaborative construction project between Freiraum Kollektive and the Memusi Foundation (UK) to develop a prototype dwelling for low-income communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Pallet Homes aim to bring low-impact building materials and techniques to the community through the use of recycled materials. Our innovative construction technique has been trialled in a construction workshop with architecture students and will be built in 1:1 during August 2017, prior to the first home being constructed in December 2017.
