Un salon sur la Corniche.

Beirut rebuilds for two decades. Some people could enjoy the skyliine made of skyscrapers higher and higher between mountains and the sea but others observe that this reconstruction is done without thinking about the people. Public spaces are almost non-existent, meeting points are even rarer.
Beirut's seaside Corniche is one of the only places where people gather but soon realizes that it is only a crossing where there are no way to relax, talk with your neighbor of sit down as a family to watch the sea in front of you.

This project is the result of this problem, and try to provide a simple and fast answer. Inspired by the Majlis, this seating areas are made of different volumes of concrete, simple and accesible to all.
In order to improve the quality of the Corniche, warm shadow could be easily made by replanting mediterranean pines along this linear walk.
