Francesca Redetzke is perusing her Masters of Architecture at NewSchool of Architecture and Design, as a NewSchool Fellow, and following the IPAL track. She received her BA in Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is currently shadowing at Public Architecture, with Jim Brown, as well leading a placemaking project in Lemon Grove to activate Promenade Park.
Francesca’s interests lay in designing to create interest and activity in urban environments. She believes buildings should interact with their context and create a desire for the public to interact with them.
