is French language important for Msc Architecture at EPFL?

leooo

Hi there, I'm planning to apply to EPFL for its MSc Architecture but I am wondering is the French language important in the course? Although it is stated on the website the course will be taught in both English and French but certificate of French language is not mandatory at the time of admission? I can't speak French, but I'm curious to know if I can get in or if I can go in and learn it.

Can't speak french yet you're applying to a predominantly french school? What could possibly go wrong?  What did the school say when you called and asked?

I don't speak French either but at least I can say "je ne parle pas français" and "puis-je avoir de la poutine" and the most important phrase of all "double double s'il vous plait"

double double? Gross.... coffee is consumed black or with baileys. Anything else is blasphemy.

Sidenote, I think the swiss could make a half-decent poutine.
