Architectural Studies - USA or Canada?

leelatran

Is the USA or Canada better to obtain an Architecture Degree? Why? Which country has more job opportunities?

You should be thinking about individual schools, not which country - both countries have some very great schools and some schools you should avoid. There are some technicalities involved in getting your education from one country accepted when you seek a license in the other country but, unlike with degrees from many other countries, there is enough back-and-forth between the US and Canada that transferring your education is a pretty smooth process.

Take the cheapest option and don’t go to UofT for a bachelor of art studies. Also, don’t rely on online forums for answers to adult decisions.

^Cheapest accredited option, definitely. Albeit, also take some account of what schools specialize in - if, say, you hate parametric design, you might be miserable at a school famous for it...
