New York, NY
NEW YORK, NY, March 29, 2023 - Shaping an inspiring and educational experience for young, up-and-coming women in architecture, engineering, and related fields, the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation (BWAF) has announced its 2023 Emerging Leaders Program.
Now in its sixth year, the acclaimed workshop series offers a rare and exciting opportunity for aspiring young women professionals to advance their thriving careers by meeting and engaging with visionary women mentors in architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, law, and financial services. The highly successful New York-based program promises to build on these valuable relationships and help shape the next generation of women in these male-dominated industries.
“The Emerging Leaders Program is a foundational element of BWAF’s mission to support and cultivate women’s contributions in architecture, engineering and allied fields,” says Cynthia Phifer Kracauer, AIA, executive director at BWAF. “We believe women leaders play an indispensable role in enriching their professions and creating essential connections. Providing role models to young women motivated to break ground in these areas is vital encouraging more women to engage in this work.”
The 2023 program offers three sessions from March to May, with respective themes of Engagement, Environment, and Energy, with each session led by a different prominent and inspiring woman in the field.
