Our client approached us with a brief to design a family dwelling on a recently purchased parcel of land in the Cotswolds. Using traditional cotswold vernacular, we designed a high spec, five bedroom, super insulated low energy dwelling. Utilising solar gain to the rear of the property coupled with a high thermal mass, super insulated fabric and minimal thermal bridges provides over 90% of the space heating demand of the dwelling. The project will aim to achieve the Passivehaus standard. Currently in the planning stages.
