AGi architects win Residential Project of the Year at Middle East Architect Awards for second consecutive year
AGi architects, a Spain and Kuwait based practice led by architects Joaquin Perez-Goicoechea, Nasser Abulhasan and Salvador Cejudo, have just been recognized with two new awards during the latest edition of the Middle East Architect Awards 2013, recently held in Dubai.
The design firm -shortlisted in five categories- has achieved the GCC Residential Project of the Year for the second consecutive year, this time, for the single-family housing Star House, while S Cube Chalet was the winning project in 2012.
In addition, BBS Pre-school has been selected as winner for GCC Public Sector, Institutional & Cultural Project of the Year in the same awards.
Other two single-family houses designed by AGi architects, Secret House and Mop House, had been shortlisted in the Residential Project of the Year category.
According to AGi architects’ team, “we are proud to have been chosen again as winners in the Residential Project of the Year category and also for best Public Sector, Institutional & Cultural Project of the Year”.
