Marc. G. Andre Architects was commissioned by Biagio Ricio and Judd Malin co-owners of Quattro Pazzi Stamford to design a new concept restaurant in the heart of downtown Stamford, Connecticut. The new restaurant named "boca" will be housed within an existing 2500 SF space formally occupied by Telluride.
Inspired by South Beach's nightlife, culinary culture, the sea and vibrancy of the downtown, the architect juxtaposed a linear entry façade flanked with retractable folding glass doors with a fluid and organic interior. Curvilinear panels ascend from the floor up and dissipate into the ceiling, simulating the surface of the sea.
Boca is unexpected, yet inviting. Once completed it will provide a unique environment for formal and casual dining.
