SAN DIEGO – To better serve clients in the San Diego area, Flad Architects has moved into a new office at Irvine Company’s One La Jolla Center, one block away from Flad’s previous San Diego office in UTC. The address of the new office expansion is:

Flad is a national planning and design firm with offices in 10 cities nationwide. Since Flad’s San Diego office was established in 2022, it has supported a variety of high-profile projects, including research campuses Torrey View by Breakthrough and Longfellow Lusk in Sorrento Valley as well as the new 200,000-square-foot Multidisciplinary Life Science Building at UCSD.

The recently completed 10-acre Torrey View campus is one of the largest research facility developments in San Diego. With 515,000 square feet of state-of-the-art laboratory, office space, and amenities, the new campus was 100 percent pre-leased before its opening.

Flad has also partnered with developer Longfellow Real Estate Partners to master plan and design the Lusk Science Campus, which consists of three integrated sites: Sorrento Tech, Barnes Canyon, and Lusk-on-Lusk. The 2.5 million square foot project will create a connected neighborhood of world-class life science facilities.

Flad will host an open house later this spring, inviting clients and partners to tour the new office space.

In addition, Ryder will speak on the “Innovating & Repositioning Life Sciences” panel at the April 18 Southern California Life Sciences Conference hosted by Bisnow.
