debartolo architects is completing a 2.2 MW solar array in TEMPE, ARIZONA. Currently under construction and will shade over 5-acres of parking - (800 parking spaces) the four closely spaced structures also activate a critical part of the Arizona State University campus used for civic, ironman events, before and after games, concerts, etc. Located adjacent to the football stadium, the new solar array is expected to produce over 3,500 AC Megawatt-hours annually - equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 531 “average” Arizona homes. The array will offset over 2.8 million pounds of CO2 annually. The structure will be complete by JANUARY 2012.

debartolo architects is such a huge success story for me - I show them to my ProPractice students every year. Nice work on this and so many other projects!
I always liked the work of Matt Sears who was once part of ADP.....another great spin off.
