RICHMOND, VA (June 12, 2013) – Baskervill is pleased to announce the following new hires and personnel achievements.

Jason Moore joined the firm as a project designer. Jason worked previously at an architecture firm in China and has a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon.

Jennifer Nielsen joined the firm as an interior designer in the hospitality studio. Jennifer recently graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design.

Ben Rickey joined the firm as a plumbing and mechanical designer in the engineering department. Ben worked previously as a BIM Modeler and CAD Operator for a local air conditioning company. He has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Michael Schwartz will serve as the firm’s new BIM Manager. Michael worked previously in a similar role for another architecture firm and has experience working as a production technician and HVAC designer.

John Michael Currie, FAIA, FRSPH, vice president of healthcare, was accepted into the American College of Healthcare Executives, the leading professional society for healthcare leaders dedicated to improving healthcare delivery.

Awais Mahmood, a project designer in Baskervill's hospitality group, is now an accredited LEED AP BD+C. With this accreditation, Awais can better serve clients with his advanced knowledge of green building and his expertise in LEED certification.

Andrea Manrique, an interior designer in the corporate studio, now has her NCIDQ certificate. The certification exemplifies her experience as a skilled interior designer.
