Richmond, VA
RICHMOND, VA (April 3, 2014) – Baskervill is excited to participate in AIA Richmond’s Architecture Week, held from April 7 to April 12. As part of a national event that showcases architecture’s influence on daily life, Richmond’s Architecture Week will celebrate and honor the city’s vibrant architecture and design culture.
This year’s theme is “Made in RVA,” which will focus on the artistic craftsmanship behind Richmond designers, including a special presentation on artistic collaboration by Baskervill Interior Designer Matthew Marsili and local muralist Ed Trask.
Other events for Architecture Week include a variety of tours, from a construction company and furniture design studio to tours of a modern residence and historic neighborhood, as well as a sneak peek at the city’s First Freedom Monument design concept. For a full schedule, click here.
“We’re lucky to be a part of a city that’s full of creativity and inspiration,” said Bob Tierney, AIA, Baskervill’s director of design and co-chair for the week-long festivities. “The event really gives people a chance to learn about that creativity in fun, interactive settings.”
