April 2021 – Hoffmann Architects, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, announces that Robert Delagrange, with the Connecticut office, has earned a promotion.

Robert G. Delagrange has been promoted to Senior Business Development Manager in recognition of his his initiative and leadership in advancing the growth of Hoffmann Architects. Since joining the firm in 2016 as Business Development Manager, Delagrange has partnered with the Connecticut technical staff to reach new prospective clients and to strengthen relationships with existing clients and colleagues. An accomplished sales professional, he brings twenty years of experience selling architecture and engineering services and products to his role as the sole business development manager responsible for the entire New England region, encompassing corporate, educational, government, religious, hospitality, and cultural sectors.

Delagrange is responsible for generating business opportunities, expanding networking connections, and fostering client relationships. Through his dedication to bringing Hoffmann Architects’ expertise into new territory, Delagrange successfully expanded the firm’s reach throughout Massachusetts, with projects at leading academic institutions and healthcare facilities.

Outside the office, Delagrange has built relationships with peers in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry that have opened new opportunities and given back to professional communities. He has devoted his time to many organizations, including the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Greater Hartford Chapter, the Connecticut Building Congress (CBC), the Southern New England Chapter of APPA Educational Facilities (SNEAPPA), the CoreNet Global Connecticut Westchester Chapter, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), the International Association of Museum Facility Administrators (IAMFA), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), the Construction Institute, the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), Professional Women in Construction (PWC), the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and the American Institute of Architects Connecticut Chapter (AIA CT). Through his participation in the New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society (NEHES), Delagrange has established himself as a trusted colleague and resource for building enclosure guidance for New England healthcare facility professionals. A leader in his local community, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Howard Whittemore Memorial Library in Naugatuck, Connecticut, and he is a Trustee and Chairman of the Business Committee for the Congregational Church of Naugatuck; both the library and the church are architectural landmarks in his hometown and former Hoffmann Architects projects.

Delagrange holds an M.B.A. from the University of New Haven and a B.S. in marketing from the University of Connecticut. Known for his companionable nature and tireless work ethic, Delagrange is skilled at identifying the unique needs of each Hoffmann Architects client, and his ability to bring people together and build consensus lays the groundwork for successful project outcomes. He lives in Oxford, Connecticut.
