September 2020 – Hoffmann Architects, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, is pleased to announce the promotion of a member of the New York technical staff.

Steffany Malarik, AIA has earned a promotion to Senior Staff Architect, in recognition of her technical skills, responsibility, and project experience.

After joining Hoffmann Architects in 2015 as a Project Representative, Malarik’s talent and leadership earned her multiple promotions in quick succession. Her experience includes restoration and replacement of facades, roofs, windows, plazas, pedestrian bridges, and sidewalks, as well as design consultation for new construction. At Hoffmann Architects, she has contributed to projects for a wide range of clients, from educational and healthcare organizations to property managers and financial institutions.

Malarik graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. She earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate credential and is a member of the AIA New York Emerging Architects and Women in Architecture committees. A spirited champion of teamwork, Malarik is captain of Hoffmann Architects’ intramural dodgeball and volleyball teams. Her notable projects include roof replacements for Morgan Stanley and for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, roof repairs at Columbia University’s Low Library, and facade rehabilitation at Fordham University’s Tierney Hall.
