The Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life at New York University provides a home for over 100 religious organizations on the NYU campus. This multi-faith center on Washington Square Park in downtown Manhattan expresses the spiritual mission of the building without relying on any singular religious iconography - The abstract image of growth, or the tree of life, is created through the application of a layered, water-jet cut, laminated, quartzite stone, rain-screen facade.
