Stantec, a global integrated design firm, recently announced the appointment of Suzanne Crysdale as the new discipline leader for architecture in the firm’s global Buildings practice.
She will be instrumental in streamlining processes, addressing project challenges, and building on the team’s strengths to achieve success for its architectural practice. In her new role, Crysdale will develop and implement well-defined standards, effective QA/QC and mentoring, and a consistent approach to integrated design.
A valued practitioner, Crysdale will continue to focus on achieving health equity in the communities she serves, including the work on Canada’s largest hospital – Trillium Health Partners Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital – and demonstrate continued success in the healthcare sector.
Throughout her career, Crysdale’s passion for collaboration and her personal approach to design and client management have guided her architectural teams to ensure the best possible design solutions and outcomes are achieved.
“Suzanne has demonstrated a proven ability to lead complex projects from design to delivery for an array of clients while managing teams with passion and collaboration. Her transition to this high-profile leadership role will support Stantec in delivering design excellence and growing our business to its highest standards,” said Adriana Jaegerman, senior vice president for Buildings at Stantec.
