New York based BIM/Trainer has created a new initiative to deliver practical and practice-based instruction to students, recent graduates, and professionals looking to re-tool their careers.
As a group of trainers who practice as BIM managers in New York City, BIM/T saw a dire need for BIM training to qualify students and recent graduates for internships and full-time positions at architecture firms.
In their experience as professionals, sitting on the other side of the interview table, BIM/T trainers found the coursework students present in portfolio samples is often too software-focused or theoretical and removed from how BIM/Revit is implemented in practice. This has led BIM/T to offer industry training in BIM from a practice-based background. BIM/T provides create a practice-based training program, offered both in-person and via web conference.
