New York, NY
MADGI designed International Creative Management (ICM) Partners’ newly completed 36,000 RSF New York Headquarters. The office space occupies the entirety of the 12th and 14th floors at the Park Avenue Tower located at 65 East 55th Street. ICM is one of the world’s largest talent and literary agencies with offices in New York, Los Angeles and London. The agency represents creative and technical talent in the fields of motion picture, television, books, music, live performance, branded entertainment and new media. The building’s prime location is walking distance to mass transit and has a slew of amenities in the cellar levels which include a café/lounge, conference center, fitness/yoga gym and pool table. The focal point of the project was the reception area and the connecting stair from the 14th floor reception to the offices on the 12th floor. The main corridor along the reception and boardroom features full height custom built-in book shelves for myriad books and publications. The reception features dark wood floors, light grey millwork and marble porcelain book-matched accents; the staircase was clad in the same porcelain slab material. Knoll’s classic lounge chairs in suede leather and blue velvet add a touch of luxury and class to the bright and inviting reception. A large TV screen displays digital art/news feeds. The overall feel of the space is contemporary with a mix of classic elements. The color scheme is neutral and elegant.
