REHAU unveils new cabinetry program additions that complement its range of RAUVISIO HouseSM surface lines: appliance end panels and raw MDF floating shelves. These high-quality additions help cabinet shops easily meet the needs of more clients by expanding cabinet customization opportunities, contributing to the creation of personalized spaces that reflect individual stories.

Appliance End Panels

REHAU broadens its cabinet door product offering with the addition of appliance end panels. The 1.5-inch-thick end panel is offered in any color from the following surface lines: RAUVISIO brilliant™, RAUVISIO noir™, RAUVISIO crystal™, RAUVISIO terra™ and RAUVISIO ingrain™. Available in sizes up to 4 feet wide by 9 feet high, the new panels accommodate a range of appliances to deliver cohesive designs. All edges are finished with REHAU LaserEdge™ technology for a seamless appearance. The appliance end panel highlights the company’s dedication to making high-end cabinet customization accessible, helping cabinet shops capitalize on modern design trends with ease.

“The appliance end panel is intended to take work off of our customers as a ready-to-use product,” said Mark Kraus, director of engineering for the interior solutions division at REHAU. “The panel showcases REHAU’s innovative approach to product fabrication, taking advantage of our existing board products with a modified manufacturing process. This method offers a complete solution for concealing the sides of appliances, contributing to uniform designs.”

Raw MDF Floating Shelves

REHAU announces the expansion of its floating shelves product line with raw standard-grade MDF floating shelves. The unfinished shelves allow cabinet shops to finish the product to their own standards, creating more opportunities for client customization. Floating shelves replace the storage capacity of traditional upper cabinets while lending airiness and uncluttered style to kitchen, bath and accent wall design. With a patented bracket design, these shelves allow for a storage capacity of up to 15 pounds per linear foot and enable displayed storage of far heavier items than previously possible without visible hardware. Installation and hardware are consistent with existing REHAU shelves, but the raw MDF shelves are slightly thicker at 2 1/2 inches rather than 2 3/8 inches.

“The new raw MDF floating shelves offer the same great benefits as our existing floating shelves, but in a raw material form to expand opportunities for customization,” said Kraus. “From applying your own laminate or paint to leaving them unfinished for a rustic look, these shelves were designed to be completely customizable to help cabinet shops meet the needs of clients who like to add their own personal flair.”
