(2018) MIAMI, FL – Award winning architectural and interior designers Agustín Salas, IAAIA and Karin Dax, IIDA, are pleased to announce the founding of AIRE + Partners, Inc. Headquartered in Miami FL, the practice brings together a diverse think-tank of design experts focused on the development of innovative commercial workplace solutions for clients worldwide.  AIRE + Partners will focus its practice on the design of corporate offices, hospitality, academic, institutional, residential, high-rise and community projects.

Co-founder Agustín Salas is an award-winning architectural designer, interior designer and master planner, whose portfolio includes residential and office towers in Israel, the United States, Canada, Russia, Mexico, and South America; as well as hospitality projects Miami, FL, the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Middle East.  With nearly 20 years of industry experience, most recently as Associate Principal for Stantec, Mr. Salas specializes in the development of functional, cost-effective solutions to challenging programmatic considerations, without sacrificing design intent or integrity.  Mr. Salas is a registered architect in the Engineering College of Venezuela and holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Fine Arts from the University of Los Andes (ULA), Mérida, Venezuela.

With more than a decade of experience, co-founder Karin Dax is an interior designer and planner noted for her ability to translate her clients’ objectives into design solutions that foster a vibrant culture and communicate distinct brand aesthetics.  Her work includes project for the hospitality, corporate, multifamily residential, luxury single family, higher education, government/public, and healthcare sectors.  Ms. Dax received a Master of Interior Design from the Boston Architectural College.  She was most recently Associate Principal at Stantec.

Inspired by the relationship between interior and exterior structures, and fueled by innovative modeling tools, Mr. Salas and Ms. Dax both share a belief in architecture’s ability to inspire and ultimately improve our experience – be it at home, work, or play.  Mr. Salas remarks: “We are inspired by people and movement.  We also believe that there is a demand in the market for experimental solutions to complex design challenges, which we look forward to tackling.”
