This weekend is the Grand Finale of the exhibition “Close to the Edge: The Birth of Hip-Hop Architecture”, brought to you by SoCalNOMA, the A+D Museum, and the Helms Bakery District (https://helmsbakerydistrict.com/close-to-the-edge/). This dynamic exhibition, covering the rich and vibrant world of hip-hop architecture, will conclude with a series of events on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th. There will be an artist conversation on the 15th with graffiti artist PRIME, and on the 16th, a symposium with the exhibit designer/curator Sekou Cooke, an auction of artwork from the show, and a closing reception! We hope you can join us for all of the closing festivities! The schedule of events and links to RSVP are included below. All events will be held at the Helms Bakery District at 8707 Washington Blvd in Culver City. Complimentary valet parking is available for each event at the adjacent parking garage.
