About Clay Theatre

The Clay Theatre is an elegantly charming wedding venue located in Green Cove Springs, Florida. A former two-screen movie theatre situated on the St. Johns River across from Green Cove Springs’ Spring Park, the venue offers clients a beautiful venue that can be modulated to their needs. The Clay Theatre’s neutral but elegant decor—which includes brick walls, wooden plank ceilings, and touches of quartz and art deco art—can fit with any couple’s theme. The venue allows you to choose from one of several excellent caterers in the Jacksonville area, even offering a fully-equipped catering kitchen. Facilities and Capacity The Clay Theatre’s primary space is a 2,127-square-foot ballroom, complete with tables and chairs, in which clients may host up to 180 guests for wedding receptions, with the option to include additional seating in the outdoor space. Additionally, the company offers an outdoor courtyard for wedding ceremonies, which can accommodate up to 200 people, and a lobby for cocktail hour, which can accommodate between 50 and 100 people. All rentals include access to two private suites, one located upstairs with a balcony view of the main theatre space, and another off of the courtyard area. Finally, the lobby features a built-in bar, and in the back of the building, clients’ caterers may utilize its fully-equipped catering kitchen.
