Currently holding at 65% Design Development, as the Capitol Campaign wraps up funding, the New Juneau Arts and Culture Center (NJACC) is poised for the push through construction document development in 2018 and construction with CMGC Cornerstone Construction starting in 2019. The Facility will contai9n a 300 seat proscenium theater, two flat-floor performing halls, art gallery, Artists gift shop, the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council home offices and arts agency lease office space. The 40,000, $21M, facility design is lead by NorthWind our of Juneau with design collaboration with Hacker out of Portland. located down town next to the newly completed APK State Museum, the NJACC will be the heart of Juneau's burgeoning Willoughby Arts and Culture District.
