SPRING HILL
In a collaboration with Dane Meyer Custom Builders, we designed and installed three stunning new staircases! Located in Fort Lauderdale‘s Bay Colony Community, this ultra modern mansion received not one, not two, but three beautiful staircase designs!
When entering this immaculate home, you are met with two grande staircases. These cantilevered staircases are anchored to one side, creating the illusion of a floating staircase. Choosing the treads to have an open riser adds a nice open feel, and clear glass railings allow for natural sunlight to brighten up this light and airy space.
The third staircase installed is a beautiful spiral staircase. Wood treads were chosen to be custom stained to match the surrounding mill-work in the home. Curved stainless steel rod railings were installed along the spiral staircase with a top-mounted stainless steel handrail. Two of the bedrooms in this lovely mansion also received new stainless steel rod railings for their loft area’s. All of the stainless steel elements were chosen to come in a brushed finish, a nice touch to the overall aesthetic.
We were allowed some designer freedom, which made this project one of our favorites. From steel structures and faux concrete treads to clear glass railings, these various materials created quite an interesting ambiance to this homeowners modern style.
