We invite NYC architects to join Daniel Libeskind and Open House New York's Dorothy Dunn for a very special launch event of a new television series called Songs About Buildings and Moods exploring the intersection of music and architecture.
The evening will consist of a panel discussion on the dynamic relationship between music and architecture and the power of sensory engagement. Carnegie Hall's Ensemble Connect will perform the commissioned pieces live to the videos of the spaces
The sites include an Art Moderne church, the TWA Hotel, the Morris Jumel Mansion and Frank Lloyd Wright's Emil Bach House.
Songs About Buildings and Moods invites us to experience both architecture and music in new ways and is presented as part of Open House New York (OHNY) Weekend.
