Welcome to our new photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Adam Larkey visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day.

It's 6 p.m. and Larimer Square is crawling with people after a long business day. Euclid Hall, a gastropub from restaurateurs Jennifer Jasinski and Beth Gruitch, just wrapped up "Study Hall" happy hour, and the line is ready to battle. It's not unusual for a team of four or five linecooks to serve up to 800 guests on a busy night, and this night is no different — especially since Van Halen is playing at the Pepsi Center in a matter of hours.
