Peter Zellner has joined From Lot to Spot, a non profit-organization dedicated to greenspace equity as a Board Member.
From Lot to Spot (FLTS) has been on the forefront of the environmental justice movement in Los Angeles and has developed a number of new community-designed parks and community gardens across Los low income neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
FLTS was founded in 2007 by Executive Director Viviana Franco as a direct response to the relationship between lack of green space and the quality of life in low-income neighborhoods. FLTS has long standing relationships in the communities that stand to benefit greatly from the City's commitment to creating equitable urban resources and infrastructure.
FLTS is currently planning it's annual Gala and Fund Raiser in September. This year's honorees will include former United States Secretary of Labor, former US House Representative and current LA County Supervisor District 1 Hilda Solis and architect Michael Maltzan.
