MKCA excited to announce that our recently completed Upper Eastside townhouse project has been honored with the Renaissance Award from Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts. It joins an illustrious list of previous recipients, including Apple and the Park Ave Armory. The project includes several innovative uses of terra cotta, among them a reconstructed front facade that recaptures the lost details of the original brownstone one, executed entirely in a through-body terra cotta with specialized aggregates developed specifically for the project with Boston Valley Terra Cotta – a first for the NYC Landmark districts.
