To celebrate the the 50th issue of MARK–an avant-garde magazine that covers contemporary architecture–WAA designed a birthday cake for for the publication, which is featured in the June/July 2014 issue. The cake was composed with a series of 50 cubes of various dimensions, and is topped with a multi-faceted 'candle' that–when viewed from any angle–displays the number '50'. Published alongside the cake are its plans, section, and elevation, as well as the WAA designed espresso cups and cutlery, both of which are produced by Alessi, and the latter  of which launched in spring 2014. The issue will be on newsstands from June 1st.
