Perspectives is documentary on the life and work of architect Wiel Arets, produced by George Vogelaar and Geert van Gemert, which premiered as part of the 'Rotterdam Architecture Film Festival' in 2011. This documentary will be broadcast on 'TV Maastricht', a television channel localized to the Dutch province of Limburg, from September 20-22, 2013. It sketches an image of this globally active architect engaging in the fields of architecture, design, and metropolitan development. Set within the Netherlands, Milan, Zürich, Berlin, and Tokyo, the producers unravel Arets' affection for Comme des Garçon, his passion for Japan and its culture, and capture his conversations with Kazuyo Sejima, Toyo Ito, and Rolf Fehlbaum of Vitra, among others.
