Pop-Up House

The Pop-Up House, a new type of passive prefabricated house saw the day a few months ago in the pine valleys of the South of France.

Heating represents close to 28% of global energy consumption and is also one of the main household costs. Determined to develop solutions, Multipod Studio has patented a unique approach to passive construction that delivers outstanding thermal insulation at an affordable cost.

Four days and a screwdriver are all you need to build the Pop-Up House. The structure is completely built by compiling insulating blocks with wooden panels. The house is assembled using lightweight and recyclable materials which don’t require special tools for quick installation. The materials used are inexpensive so the cost remains unbeatable and the insulation created means no additional heating is needed. The Pop-Up house is an innovative concept that aims to challenge passive house construction.
